What is an energy healing session? 

Energy healing is a shamanic practice that seeks to address the root of the issue -- we strive to address an unwanted pattern and release heavy emotions that are holding you in dysfunctional patterns.

Releasing all the bad stuff sounds cool and all but I still don’t really know what the hell you’re talking about -- what exactly is happening in a session?

A typical session will look like: identifying an unwanted pattern/feeling and energetically clearing the heavy emotions associated with it. I will ask you to feel the heavy emotion in your body and we will clear that together from your energy field.

Some patterns take multiple sessions, some clear quickly.

All you really need to bring to a session is an open mind and heart and a desire to address an issue -- the rest will reveal itself as we work.

Where does this happen?

This work can be done remote (over zoom, FaceTime, even a phone call) or in person. I work out of my home in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.

What modalities are you using here? 

I am trained as a shamanic practitioner, reiki master, and archangelic light master. Some or all of these may reveal themselves throughout the session.

How long is a session?

Session pricing is broken down to an hour or an hour and a half. During an initial session, we tend to discuss the issues before getting into the work so I would recommend 90 minutes for a first session. We may also cover some of this in your initial (approximately 10 minute) phone call prior to a session.

Am I a good fit for this kind of work?

If you have a willingness to address your issues, yes. 

We can discuss in an introductory phone call and see if you are interested in working with me.

In general, though, if you are seeking out this work, the answer is yes, now is the time -- with me or someone else. 

A primary goal of this work is to teach you how to reconnect with and trust your inner knowing. It’s been there the whole time, we have just gotten disconnected as we moved through the world.

You are seeking this out for a reason - follow your gut!

What else might happen in a session?

We might come across crystallized energies and energetic cords in your energy field. If we do, we can clear those. A crystallized energy is a heavy energy that has gotten caught in your energetic field, perhaps from a past or current life trauma. Either way, it’s weighing you down.

Energetic cords may show themselves and are always problematic. If we cut a cord, we are releasing the dysfunctional attachments to a person (you may or may not know who they are) -- the loving, productive, and healthy attachments will remain.

What should I expect after a session?

After a session, you’ll want to drink lots of water. You may want to take an epsom salt bath, “ground” -- literally putting your feet or hands on the ground and take time to meditate and look and listen within.

Following a session, I’ll have a few other personalized suggestions for what can expedite/maximize the positive effects of this work.

I am not a licensed therapist, lawyer, or medical professional. None of this work is a substitute for these things. 

In short: good stuff happens here, but this work is a compliment to whatever else you already have going in more traditional Western medicine/therapy/whatever else you are doing.
